The Elizabeth Foundation was founded in 1981 by Shirley and David Metherell, whose daughter, Elizabeth, was diagnosed as profoundly deaf at 22 months. In response to a lack of local services, Shirley and David set up The Elizabeth Foundation to support other parents of young deaf children. The charity they established has gone from strength to strength over the ensuing years.
Elson Library Hub is on a mission.
We provide a safe and welcoming environment where the local community can freely access literature and technology.
We provide a Community Hub where local groups and residents can meet and engage in various hobbies and interests.
We provide local schools, residents and organisations with access to a learning centre. We provide a venue for local community events.
St. Faith’s Hub serves the community in Leesland, Gosport.
We are there to support and encourage all members of our community – irrespective of who they are. We know that times are hard and we’re doing whatever we can to help our community.
